Is this a collaboration?

I started this series with an original abstract sketch of a face — a simple pen drawing that captured a feeling, form, and expression. I then ran that sketch through multiple passes of AI tools, letting the machine interpret, reinterpret, and transform the image in different ways. Each pass became a kind of remix or echo of my original mark, revealing shapes and textures I hadn’t consciously drawn. In that sense, it is a collaboration: a hybrid dialogue between my intuition and the AI’s patterning and interpretive logic.

The result isn’t just an AI-generated image or a human drawing — it’s a meeting point between intentional mark-making and algorithmic imagination.
