Ghosts in the machine
The first image in this collection is a testament to the beauty found in unexpected places. It begins with a collage of discarded pictures I salvaged from a gutter, infused with ghostly painted elements. These fragments were mounted onto a photo of shimmering pool water and framed, using a blend of kids' paint from Target, masking tape, and a touch of dreamlike imagination.
Captured imperfectly in a bright room, this initial artwork was then fed into an AI, which reimagined and expanded it into a larger canvas, extending the essence of my style. From literal refuse to a refined digital collage, this process transforms the mundane into something extraordinary. I am genuinely thrilled by the journey and the resulting pieces, celebrating every step from the raw to the reimagined.
