I remember us
Using found photos from thrift stores and even the street, my work delves into the universal quality of these images. By intentionally removing focus, I aim to evoke the way these snapshots exist in our collective memory—familiar faces and scenes that linger in our minds or drift just beyond the periphery of our awareness. These old images, once strangers to us, become emblematic of shared experiences and forgotten corners of our pasts. Through this process, I seek to capture the essence of how these photographs resonate with us all, transforming them from mere artifacts into profound reflections of our shared human history.
