My work begins with the things we leave behind.
Working with photographs, found materials, and discarded ideas, I explore cultural residue and the ways objects and images accumulate meaning over time. I return to earlier work, forgotten materials, and familiar images, using processes of transformation, distortion, and reconstruction to reconsider what is worth keeping.
Photographs become objects; ordinary materials take on unfamiliar forms. Through an ongoing process of experimentation, I am interested in the space between the remembered and the imagined, the artificial and the handmade, the disposable and the enduring.
This work is an evolving investigation rather than a fixed destination—a practice of revisiting, repurposing, and resisting the impulse to discard. What remains may be an object, an image, a memory, or an idea not yet fully realized.
